Whangaparaoa is the ideal place to go op-shopping. From Hospice, to Salvation Army, St Stephen’s Second Chance Op Shop and Pandora’s Closet Curiosity & Second Hand Shop – all within 1 minute drive of each other.
Pandora’s Op Shop behind the Crows Nest is highly recommended, an interesting boutique-like store with lots of little things to look at. You can always find a hidden gem or a fantastic book for a dollar or two, to take home.
Go for a 30 minute drive up north from Whangaparaoa Lodge and discover one of New Zealand’s historic villages. Puhoi has a Bohemian atmosphere and culture, an interesting change from the Whangaparaoa Peninsula.
